Modeling Tank Cars presentation at the Seattle North End Clinic Thursday, January 5 at 7pm PST
Happy New Year!
Come join us Thursday night for the first Seattle North End clinic of 2023. This month our clinician is 4D superintendent, Bill Messecar, MMR.
The title of his clinic is Modeling Tank Cars. It will cover the history of tank cars starting at the beginning of the 20th century to the mid-1950s. Bill will also review HO tank car models in the last 10-15 year, as well as placards.

January’s “Second Saturday” layout tour is the Olympia Model Railroad Society
Join us at 10am PST on Saturday, January 14 for a video presentation on the Olympia Model Railroad Society (OMRS) HO scale model railroad layout, presented by its club president Scott Nelson. This HO layout features great scenery, working signals, JMRI operations and many other features you may be interested in. Mount Vernon Clinic Cancelled

Eastside Clinic December 22 – Update

Our program on the 22nd will be four volunteers who will share what they have on their workbenches:
Max Maginness, MMR is working on a section of trackwork that is a double track crossover lead into Jim Sabol’s O scale passenger station. It involves circuitry that automatically aligns the turnouts for any one of six platform tracks.
Alex Brikoff is working on a large HO structure, the Walthers Prairie C0-Op grain silo.
Greg Amer is working on an O scale brass EMD GP 15 kit
Lee Marsh is building a very interesting flat car load in HO.
We will have a discussion of possible locations for face to face meetings in the Spring of 2023. One location identified so far is on Mercer Island right off I 90. Please bring ideas on other possible locations.
