The Program
Hands-on Working Session Bring a project and work on it with your materials and tools. If you have run into challenges, there will be someone at the Clinic who has probably had the same challenge and would love to help.
Tool Time, Show and Tell and the Table in the Back
If you’ve found a tool or gadget especially helpful, bring it in and share it with the Clinic. If you’ve been working on a project, bring it in as well. If in photo form, let Ted know so he can have the laptop fired up.
We also encourage folks to bring along items for sale or swap, or even “freebies” – we’ll have a table for those items in the back.
My Workspace
Al Carter will step into the batter’s box this month. While his Workspace isn’t mobile or moveable, it gets the job done the way Al likes to work. He’ll talk about how he designed and built his space and share some of its features.
Kit Build
Mike O’Brien will lead the review of progress on our kits. Last month the weather was blamed as the cause of the “light” showing. We’d like to encourage all attendees to bring their projects to show their progress and to share ideas and techniques. And, if you are “stuck” on your build, there will be plenty of advice. We’re here for mutual assistance, and remember….we all learn from each other.

Sponsorship
The Mt Vernon Model Railroad Clinic is a NMRA sanctioned event. The 4th Division of the Pacific Northwest Region of NMRA provides funding of operating budgets for clinics in the division including ours. Thus, NMRA membership is heartily encouraged. If you are not quite ready to sign up for a full membership, you might want to try the 6-month Rail Pass trial membership for only $9.95. It includes 6 months of NMRA Magazine, plus all regular member benefits (except voting). Please let Al Carter at tabooma@msn.com know if you wish to join NMRA.
The Golden Grab-Iron Award selection committee is accepting nominations for the 2017 recipient. Send your suggestions to Ted Becker, rail.bird@att.net.
Unsubscribe. If you no longer wish to receive electronic mailings from the Mt Vernon Model Railroad Clinic, please send an email to Roger Johnson at skagitrailbird@gmail.com.
