It’s a big place so PLEASE FOLLOW these INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER; otherwise\, given it may be after dark\, you may never find us. \nPlease only enter off SLEATER KINNEY ROAD onto CIRCLE LANE immediately north of the large nursing home building. Follow CIRCLE LANE  going right at the first round about (onto CIRCLE LANE) then proceeding past the lighted glass statuary and entrance on your right and turning right immediately into the next parking lot. Park anywhere. \nLook for the entrance** at the right end of the large multistory apartment (Quinault Apartments); enter there and proceed one flight downstairs either by stairway or “slow” elevator. DESCRIPTION:The Railway Modellers’ Meet of British Columbia is held every year to advance the practice of railway modelling in British Columbia by providing a forum where model railroaders can meet and exchange ideas with their local\, regional and national counterparts and in so doing enrich their involvement in the NMRA and SIGs. \n\n\nWe invite all railway modellers to join us at RMMBC 2026.\nWe extend a special invitation to our friends in NMRA PNR Division 6 to the east and Division 4 to the south.\nOnce again we will be at the SFU campus with its inexpensive accommodations. \nOur goal is to provide a forum where model railroaders can meet and exchange ideas.\nNew to model railroading? Our focus is to encourage connections between participants. \nAll scales\nAll eras\nAll interests\nAll experience levels \nCome and share what you have been working on \nMay is a beautiful time of year in the Greater Vancouver area. \nAs in past years\, RMMBC 2026 will be held in May and will feature: \n\nOnline Kickoff – a set of online clinics presented in advance of the in-person meet.\nClinics – a set of in-person clinics held on the Saturday and Sunday of the weekend.\nOperating Sessions – two sessions of operating on local layouts.\nLayout Tours – self-guided tours of a variety of local layouts.\nModel Displays – a chance to share what has been on your work bench this year.\nMeet the Modeller – a session for modellers to describe their modelling project.\nManufacturers – meet local manufactures that bring value to our hobby.\nMeet My Layout – short\, pictorial overviews of layouts.\nMeet Up – a chance to get together with other modellers to debate/discuss modelling.\nWorkshops – hands on modelling in real time — do a project while you are at the meet.
