Jim Sabol and Greg Wright will present a clinic on battery powered model railroading!  Look Mom, no Wires!  Join us to see actual examples of battery powered trains in multiple scales.  As part of the clinic we will review how control has changed over the years and why battery is such a jump forward.  What DCC did compared to DC, Battery on Board is doing to DCC.

We are also expecting some estate trains from a Panorama resident to be available for free at the meeting.

This will be a hybrid clinic, Zoom and in person.

Our clinic will be in the basement auditorium of the Panorama Quinault Apartment building known as the Seattle Room (across the hall from our old meeting room).

PLEASE NOTE: Panorama is situated in Lacey on about 40 acres; consists of single family residences, duplexes, triplexes and fourplexes plus three multistory apartments housing about 1100 residents!! It’s a big place so PLEASE FOLLOW these INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER; otherwise, given it may be after dark, you may never find us.

Please only enter off SLEATER KINNEY ROAD onto CIRCLE LANE immediately north of the large nursing home building. Follow CIRCLE LANE  going right at the first round about (onto CIRCLE LANE) then proceeding past the lighted glass statuary and entrance on your right and turning right immediately into the next parking lot. Park anywhere.

Look for the entrance** at the right end of the large multistory apartment (Quinault Apartments); enter there and proceed one flight downstairs either by stairway or “slow” elevator. Walk down the long hallway you’re in about halfway, enter the Quinault Auditorium on your right and YOU’RE THERE!!
