We kick off the Eastside Get Together North (Redmond) fall clinic season this Thursday the 15th at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center. The gathering begins at 6:45 PM. Click here for additional details including an address and a map.

Our very special guest speaker is Richard Anderson, Executive Director of the Northwest Railway Museum at Snoqualmie. Richard has led the effort there for 22 years.

Milestones at the Northwest Railway Museum include:

  • Construction of the Train Shed in 2005
  • Construction of the Conservation and Restoration Center in 2011
  • Construction of the Railway Education Center, opening in October

Ongoing efforts include restoration of two of the museum’s steam engines, the former Northern Pacific Railway locomotive 924 and the Baldwin Locomotive Works “10-wheeler” locomotive number 14.

There is now a very active steam train program led by Stathi Pappas. Several of our 4D members are active as volunteers.

Come and share your interest in model railroading. Bring a model to display. There will be coffee, donuts and door prizes.
