Paul Scoles diorama for sale

Paul Scoles recently completed an HO scale diorama for a series of articles (and cover) of Railroad Model Craftsman. He is willing to sell it for $200 (rolling stock and vehicles not included). The kits alone cost nearly that much. It is about 2’x4′ and looks spectacular (see photos below). F-7 Driver’s Seat For Sale

Dr. Nick Muff is offering a rare find: one authentic driver’s chair from an F-7 cab. Nick sends the following description:

One center chair from GN F7A 462D (BN 682) 1951. The same as the engineer’s and fireman’s chairs, plus base. Sandblasted and repainted in correct GM 503d “Suede Green”. Knobs, and pedal allow the seat to adjust up and down, forward and backward and to adjust tilt. On rolling base to make it easy to move around.  Price $25. Pick up Sedro Woolley only, no shipping. HO Layout Available

Stephen Chadwick started an HO layout but hasn’t finished it and would now like to find it a good home.

The layout is 12′ x 11′ and the substructure and top are in. He has cork roadbed and track but hasn’t installed it yet. He also has lots of buildings, switches, and other stuff just ready for someone to install.

Chehalis Model Railroad Swap Meet

On March 12th & 13th, the Olympia Capitol City Lions Club will put on their 26th Annual All Scales Model Railroad Swap Meet. The show will be held at the Yard Birds Event Center, 2100 North National Ave., Chehalis WA. Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors and students. Sale of Authentic Canadian Railroad Artifacts

The museum “Trains of the World,” based in Montreal is selling its authentic collection of Canadian railroad artifacts. Over 40 years in the making, this collection offers more than 800 historic items from the steam era, 1850 to 1960.

Comprised of over 200 antique railroad maps; 100 railroad photo albums; paintings by Folkins, Fisher, Kingsland; and other artifacts such as railroad tricycles and locomotive’s whistles, headlights, bells, lanterns, oilers, padlocks, and brass name plates. This one-of-a-kind collection is being sold by the owner himself.
