This is your invitation to attend the 17th annual Mini-Meet of Santa Fe Railway fans and modelers in the Northwest. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sat, March 19, 2016, at the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive, 425 SW 153rd Street, Burien, Washington, 98166.

  • 9:00 – 10:00: Register, pick up handouts, meet other attendees
  • 10:00: Bill Messecar on “Operating a Prototype Santa Fe Layout”
  • 11:00: Colin Kikawa on “Modeling Santa Fe’s Shadow-Lined Passenger Cars”
  • 12:00 – 1:00: No host lunch break & sales tables & view Boeing’s HO layout
  • 1:00: Introduction of attendees
  • 1:15: John Thompson on “Santa Fe’s 4-8-4s and HO Models”
  • 2:30: Break
  • 2:45: Jerry Boudreaux on “Designing and Building a Santa Fe Layout”
  • 3:30: Doug Nighswonger on “Santa Fe All the Way” (1950s-1960s Slides)
  • 4:45: Wrap-Up and End Mini-Meet

Cost for the event and handouts is $10 to cover our costs. Sale tables are available for a $10 fee per table.

The Boeing Employees Model Railroad Club’s large, double-deck HO layout (under construction) is in the same building and will be open for viewing during breaks.
