Santa Train at Northwest Railway Museum
December 13, 2015
$22Santa Train® is the Museum’s most popular seasonal program. A Northwest tradition since 1969, the event allows participants of all ages to travel by train from North Bend for a visit with Santa Claus at Snoqualmie and to enjoy refreshments (included with tickets) served from the Museum’s railway kitchen car. Children visiting with Santa receive a small gift and there is time to visit local shops and attractions. While in the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, participants often visit one of the many local holiday tree farms or lots, and the many unique shopping destinations.
Trains will run November 28 & 29, December 5 & 6, December 12 & 13 and December 18 (Friday) & 19 (Saturday), 2015. The first Santa Train® leaves North Bend at 9 a.m. Trains depart every hour; the last trip leaves at 3 p.m. There is no 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. train on Sunday, November 29 or Friday, December 18. There is a special needs train on Sunday, November 29 at 9 a.m.; please contact the depot at 425-888-3030 x7202 for more information about that train or to make a reservation.
The Friday, December 18, 2015 Santa Train will be pulled by a Steam Locomotive, the Santa Cruz and Portland Cement steam locomotive 2. The Saturday and Sunday trains will be pulled by the Museum’s historic Diesel Electric engines 4012 and 4024.
