The 4th Division Spring Meet will be held at the Tacoma Community College on May 14th, with clinics running from 9 am to 4 pm. The website is up and running and taking registrations: http://www.wnrr.net/4DPNR/.
There are three clinic tracks, with the third track consisting of “hands on, make and take” clinics (there are additional costs with the “make and take” clinics).
The cost for the Spring Meet is only $20, which includes lunch – a great deal! (You must register by May 1st to receive lunch.)
The final list of clinics is still being finalized, but the current lineup includes:
- Waybills & Track Warrants for Ops (Tyler Whitcomb)
- Getting Ready for Operations on your Layout (Jim Younkins)
- Something on Operations (William Messecar)
- Operations 101 (Chuck Ricketts)
- Sketchup & 3D Printing (Chip Van Gilder)
- Using an NMRA Standards Gauge (Diedrik Voss)
- Sub-Roadbed from Prototype to Model (Steve Cox)
- Layout Backgrounds (Paul Rising)
- Building a Laser Cut Structure (Hands On Learning, Barry Dupler)
The Spring Meet website will always have the most current information on clinics (and anything else relating to the meet).
The registration link on the web site allows you to register and reserve a spot (as well as lunch). You can register in advance and pay at the door on the day of the meet, or can pre-pay using PayPal. There is also a form that can be printed out for registering through postal mail (the same printed form will be in a 4D mailing within a few weeks).
