Tuesday, September 13th is our next 4th Division Westside Clinic. For our newcomers the clinic is held at the United Way of Kitsap Building in downtown Bremerton (647 4th Street) at 7:00 PM. Additional information including a map can be found by clicking here.
Jack Hamilton will be presenting a clinic on Steam Locomotives.
A reminder: This is the deadline for Aaron Lamar’s N scale layout competition.
We also have an opportunity to save a small HO layout from the dump (see pictures below). Ron Eber provided the following info about this layout: “The table is 6 x 4 on a sheet of plywood. The height is about 1 foot. Tracks will need some work and replacement, but can be used by itself or together in another layout. My father-in-law was a landscape architect and he could make some very nice models of almost anything. It is still wired but the controls were old and have been removed.” He needs it removed this week as he has sold the house and closes on the 19th.
As usual there will be a “Show and Tell” and “Model of the Month”.
If you have a friend or spouse who is interested in model railroading, they are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
